Wynn's always been lucky to have the right people around. When he was a kid, his dad always tried to get him interested in guitar. A friend encouraged an interest in singing. Another friend pushed his limits. Then some guys asked him to join their band. The rest is history.
Terry started drumming at age 14, inspired by a wide range of musical styles and a local pocket drummer who shaped his groove. By 16, he was playing in bands and has since developed a versatile, feel-driven style. Currently, Terry is the drummer for Uncle Rico, an Okanagan Valley band known for performing popular hits spanning all decades.
John is a seasoned musician and accomplished piano and keyboard player with 59 years of experience. A self-taught artist, John has honed his craft through a lifetime of dedication, drawing influence from a diverse range of iconic artists such as Elton John, Billy Joel, Queen, Supertramp, and Scott Joplin, among others.
Having started playing music in school bands, John was part of a talented group, some of whom persued music professionally, with one member even performing alongside Sarah McLachlan for several years. While music has always been a constant passion and escape, it is only in recent years that John has returned to the music scene in a more serious, focused way.
Wth a deep love for keyboard drivn music, John continues to explore new musical adventures, blending influences from past legends with a fresh, personal touch. Whether performing live or composing, John brings a wealth of experience, creativity, and an enduring passion for music to every project.
Rob is the big man on bass. He started playing music at an early age and has yet to find an instrument he doesn't like including bag pipes. He has played in cover bands and tribut acts over the past 30 years but states Uncle Rico is the best mix of friends that are musicians too. "We have fun playing for people becuase we have fun playing together" is how he describes the Uncle Rico experience.
Thomas picked up a guitar at 12 thinking it would help him get girls. It didn't... but it did turn into a lifelong obsession. Influenced by everything from John Mayer to Rage Against the Machine, he still can't decide if he wants to serenade you or start a riot. When he's not adding backup vocals and quesionable riffs to Uncle Rico, he's busy trying (and failing) to convince his kids that guitars are cooler than Minecraft. He's confident fame will come, just as soon as someone other than his mom asks for an autograph.
